Obituary of Joan F. Sylvander

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan F. Sylvander.  Joan passed away on February 24th,  2020 at the age of 76. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her brother, John Sylvander, her nieces and nephews, and all the family and friends she leaves behind until we meet again.

We are forever grateful that Joan passed away peacefully, in her home, with loved ones and furry friends. Our tears are met with a smile when we think of her reunited with her loved ones in Heaven that she missed so dearly, her sisters, Kathy and Mary and her most loving parents, Mary and John Sylvander.

May She Rest in Peace knowing that she is loved and missed dearly. She will be remembered for her example of altruism, loyalty, compassion, joy, and kindness.  

The visitation for Joan F. Sylvander will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Friday February 28, 2020 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Saturday February 29, 2020 at 9:45 AM - the family will be meeting at the funeral home by 8:45 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
