So sorry to read about Joe. He and I were shipmates on the USS VOGELGESANG in Norfolk. He was a kind, and passionate guy, and taught me so much about his home town in New York. We share much about each other, and had a deep friendship while on board. After I left, we lost contact. I have included him on our listing of VOGELGESANG Crew members. If there was a guy who could give a hug and his warm smile, it was Joe. Loved him as a brother. Again, so sorry to hear.
