Obituary of Roseleen Murtagh

Rose Murtagh, age 90, of Belle Harbor entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Rose was born February 1, 1930 in Donegal, Ireland. She is the daughter of the late Francis and the late Teresa (Cavanagh) O'Donnell. Beloved wife of the late Denis Murtagh. Loving mother of Mari Moriarty, Denise Lee, Kathleen McCormack, Patrick Murtagh and Joni McGrath. Cherished grandmother of Dennis, Terence, Colin, Rebecca, Alyson, Casey, John, Denis, Patrick, Molly, Megan and Monica. Treasured great grandmother of Teddy, Olive and Ray. 

Reposing Thursday, February 13 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home,3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, New York.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, February 14 at St. Francis De Sales R.C. Church, 129-16 Rockaway Beach Blvd, Belle Harbor, New York.

Burial to immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
