Obituary of Virginia Franca

Virginia Franca, age 92, of West Palm Beach Florida passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. Virginia was born July 28, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY.  She is the daughter of Antonio and Angelina (Sanfillipo) Crisci and beloved Wife to the late Joseph Franca.   She is the Cherished Mother to Bruce and the late Joanne Franca, Robert and Colleen Franca,  Brian and the late Ivette Franca and Joseph and Maura Franca. She will be greatly missed by her five grandchildren, Jennifer, Christine, Evan, Brendan and Carole Ann and four great- grandchildren, Dylan, Alex, Colton and Ella.

Virginia and Joseph Franca owned and operated Franca's Cleaners on Avenue N in Brooklyn for 38 years. She was gifted in may ways and loved to cook and prepare amazing meals for her family and friends, was an avid knitter who used her knitting skills to make blankets for Cancer patients and played bocce right into her 90s.  She was a parishioner at Mary Queen of Heaven for many years while she lived in Brooklyn and more recently a member of the St. Therese De Lisieux Church in Wellington, Florida.

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 17 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 on Saturday, January 18, at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1326 East 57th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11234.
