Obituary of Margaret Pinto

Margaret Pinto a lifelong resident of Brooklyn passed away on Friday December 20, 2019 at Mount Sinai Brooklyn of Brooklyn, NY. Margaret was 88 years old. Margaret was born on May 17, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. Margaret is the daughter of the late Rocco and the late Carmela (Stavola) Commisso. Margaret married the love of her life Joseph P. Pinto on June 14, 1953. They were married for 51 years until his passing in 2004. Margaret is survived by her loving children Suzanne (Tony) Arato, Tony (Phyllis) Pinto and Steven Pinto; her beloved grandchildren Victoria (Anthony) and Laura (Mike); and her cherished great grandchild Thomas Anthony. Margaret is also predeceased by her treasured grandson Paul Pinto who passed away in 2001. Forever In Our Hearts Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. Visitation will be on Thursday December 26, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday December 27, 2019 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church at 9:45 AM. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island immediately following the Mass.
