Obituary of Charles R. MacDonald

Charles R. MacDonald a resident of Brooklyn passed away on Wednesday December 4, 2019 at NYU Hospital Center - Tisch Hospital of NY. Charles was 79 years old. Charles was born on December 2, 1940 in Manhattan, NY. Charles is the son of the late Edward and the late Josephine (Keogh) MacDonald. Charles served proudly in the Army during the Vietnam Era. Charles was employed by IBEW Local 3, NYC as an Electrician. Charles married the love of his life Marcia (nee Babitts). They were married for 32 years before her passing in 2008. Charles is survived by his loving children Kathleen (Bob) Koppenhoefer, David (Teresa) Conlon, Robert Conlon, Daniel (Michelle) Conlon, James (Laurie) Conlon, Stacey Scordato and Pamela (Hope Dameron) Conlon; his beloved grandchildren Matthew, Jason, Michael, Ryan, Joe, Steven, Ian, Melanie and Matthew; his treasured great grandchildren Jocelyn and Megan and his adored brother Edward (Roseanne) MacDonald. Charles is predeceased by his cherished wife Marcia, his son in law Bob Sanchez, his grandchild Jaime Boeckeo and his brother Joseph MacDonald.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Visitation will be Thursday December 12, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY. There will be a Funeral Prayer Service held at 7:30 PM on Thursday December 12, 2019 at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY. The Graveside Service will be held on Friday December 13, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY.
