Obituary of Maureen O'Flaherty

Maureen O'Flaherty, age 57, of Belle Harbor entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Maureen O'Flaherty was born August 15, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of Ellen Walsh the late John O'Flaherty. Cherished stepdaughter of Michael Walsh. Beloved wife of Vito Spano. Loving sister of Linda O'Flaherty, William O'Flaherty (Elizabeth), and Ellen Marie Sweeney (Brian). Stepsister of Jeanne Rivera. Treasured stepmother of Joseph Spano (Tina) and Charles Spano (Katrina). Adored grandmother of seven loving grandchildren and a special aunt of one niece and eight nephews.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing on Saturday evening November 30, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Sunday December 1, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn.

Funeral Mass will be held at 9:45 AM on Monday December 2, 2019 at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church, 129-16 Rockaway Beach Blvd. Belle Harbor, New York 11694.

Committal service will immediately follow at Green-Wood Crematory Chapel, located inside Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street Brooklyn, New York 11232.
