Obituary of Anthony L. Nicora
Anthony Nicora a lifelong resident of Brooklyn passed away on Sunday November 3, 2019 at Sheepshead Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Brooklyn, NY. Anthony was 92. Anthony was born on September 11, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY. Anthony is the son of the late John and the late Maria (Bertuzzi) Nicora. Anthony married the love of his life Regina Hasner. They have been married for 59 years. Anthony served proudly in the Army during WW II. Anthony was employed by NYC Board Of Education as a Teacher. Anthony is survived by his loving wife Regina Nicora and his beloved son John “Jack” (Heather) Nicora. Anthony is predeceased by his treasured daughter Amy who passed away in 2009.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 5, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday November 6, 2019 at St. Vincent Ferrer R.C. Church, 1603 Brooklyn Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY.
