Obituary of Michael Sacco

Michael Sacco a resident of Brooklyn, NY passed away on Saturday June 29, 2019 at Mount Sinai Brooklyn of Brooklyn, NY.  Michael was 92 years old. Michael was born June 14, 1927 in Brooklyn and is the son of the late Commaso and the late Marcellina (Leonessa) Sacco. Michael served proudly in the Navy. Michael served for two tours from July 27, 1945 to July 11, 1950.  Michael married the love of his life Madeline in 1952. Madeline predeceased Michael in 1995. Michael was employed by Department Of Sanitation City Of New York. Michael is survived by his loving children Marcella (Michael) Pannone and Michael (Josephine) Sacco; his cherished grandchildren Melissa (Andrew), Jason (Andrea), Michelle, Michael and Samantha; and his beloved great grandchildren Mason, Emma, Isabella and one on the way.

 

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

 

Visitation will be will be Tuesday July 2, 2019 from 2:00 -5:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:15 am on Wednesday July 3, 2019 at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village.
