Obituary of Ann Shaffer

Ann Shaffer a resident of Brooklyn, NY passed away Sunday June 30, 2019 at the age of 79. Ann was on born October 16, 1939 in Rockville Centre, NY and is the daughter of late Thomas P. and Catherine (McNelis) Boyle. Ann married the love of her life James J. Shaffer. James predeceased Ann in 2014. Ann is survived by her loving children Thomas (Kathryn) Shaffer, Kerry (Billy) Dolan and James Shaffer; her beloved grandchildren Kelly, Kaitlyn, Billy Jr., Christopher, Ryan, Thomas, Cassidy and Owen; her cherished sister Kathleen (John) Byrnes and her cherished brother in law James Gimblet; and many nieces and nephews.  Ann is also predeceased by her loving sister Mary A. Gimblet  

Visitation will be Tuesday July 2, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday July 3, 2019 at Our Lady Help Of Christians R.C. Church, 1315 East 28th Street, Brooklyn, NY.  Burial will be in St Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 2 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.
