Obituary of Diana J. Montenegro

Diana J Montenegro (Josie) (Grandma), age 81, of Brooklyn passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 after a short battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis at Mount Sinai Hospital of Brooklyn at 10:56 AM in Brooklyn, NY. Diana went peacefully in the arms of her loving sister Sara Maldonado. She was born November 15, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY. Diana is the daughter of the late Manuel and the late Natividad (Luzinaris) Rojo. Diana married Maximo Montenegro on February 23, 1957. Diana graduated from Kingsborough Community College with an Associate degree. Diana was employed by Met Life Insurance. Diana is loved by her family and will be missed by all. Diana is survived by her adoring daughter Lanore Montenegro; her cherished granddaughters Raven Rodriguez; Stephanie Rodriguez and Diana Rodriguez; her dear great grandchildren Marc, Alex, Adienna, Angelina, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Kaylee, Mia and Ryan; her caring siblings Sara Maldonado and Vincent Rojo; Maria Reinitz & Joey Maldonado and her nieces and nephews

 

Memorial visitation hours will be Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.
