Obituary of Rosemary A. Podesta

Rosemary A. Podesta, age 71, of Brooklyn passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at New York Weill Cornell Medical Center of New York, NY.  Rosemary was born December 19, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late John H and the late Esther (DiCapua) Redler.  Rosemary is survived by her loving Husband David F. Podesta; her loving children David (Mary) Podesta, Debbie Gancitano and Douglas (Allison) Podesta; her loving grandchildren Jonathan, Peter, Francis, Lucas, Matthew and Madelyn. Rosemary is predeceased by her loving son in law Peter Gancitano who passed away in 2015.

 

Donations may be made in Rosemary's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hosptial. Online donations can be made online by following this link: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

 

Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 2 to 5 PM and 6 to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church, 1550 Hendrickson Street, Brooklyn, NY.  Cremation will be in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn on Thursday, January 31, 2019.
