Obituary of James Francis Kelly

James Francis Kelly, age 81, of Brooklyn passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Mr. Kelly was born September 17, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Patrick Joseph and the late Mary Anne (Noone) Kelly. Proud US Navy Veteran. Respected NYPD Sergeant.

Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father of Mary Anne Kelly, Eileen Hermance (William), Margaret Herman (Kenny) and Caryn Chambers (William). Cherished grandfather of Julia Herman, Kevin Herman, Lola Herman, Matthew Herman, Kaylee Hermance and Hannah Hermance. Dear brother of Margaret Amelio, Joseph Kelly, Patricia Newall and the late Edward Kelly.

 

Reposing Saturday, August 25 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and Sunday, August 26 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, August 27 at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd., Breezy Point, NY. Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
