Obituary of James Curtis Mumford

James Curtis Mumford, age 68, of Brooklyn passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018.  Mr. Mumford was born November 11, 1949 in Darlington, South Carolina.

Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Cousin and Friend. 

James served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Recipient of the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Stars and Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Reposing Thursday, August 16 from 3:00- 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Prayer service to be held at the funeral home at 6:00 PM during the visitation.

The Funeral Service will be held 9:15 AM on Friday, August 17 at Refuge Temple of Jesus Christ, 679 Remsen Avenue, Brooklyn, NY with Bishop Derrick Smith. 

Burial to immediately follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
