Obituary of Mary Eloise O'Hara

Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears but laugh and talk of me as though I were beside you. I loved you so…‘twas Heaven here with you. 

Mary Eloise O'Hara, age 84, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at home in Brooklyn surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. O'Hara was born May 27, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Edward and the late Mary (McGinty) Ryan. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. O’Hara. Loving and devoted mother of Tracy Berran, Susan LaPorta, Philip O’Hara, Andrew O’Hara, Kevin O’Hara, Denise O’Sullivan and Terence O’Hara. Cherished grandmother of Tara, Michael, Andrew Jr., Jennie, Christopher, Ryan, Meghan, Casey, Joseph, Brian, Margaret, Kyle, Rebecca, Lauren and Morgan. Treasured great grandmother of Lea, Emma, Alanna, Matthew, Ellie, Liam, Max, Nora and Kate. Dear sister of Susan Ryan and the late Edward Ryan. 

 

Reposing Tuesday, June 12 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday, June 13 at St. Brendan R.C. Church, 1525 East 12th Street, Brooklyn, NY.  Burial to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale.
