A man who defied odds at every turn, he taught his children an old adage from his mother, if you can dream it, you can achieve it!

A beloved husband, patriarch, mentor, humanitarian and successful entrepreneur, Wilfred Holder positively impacted everyone he came into contact with. A man of deep faith, integrity, wisdom, love and power, the extent of his impact on lives is truly innumerable. Raised as an altar boy in Christ Church, Guyana and trained as a civil engineer and quantity surveyor, he launched out as an entrepreneur gaining great success at the age of 30, owning and managing several national and international largescale businesses in Gold Mining, Battery Manufacturing, a Semi Multi-service Mall and Farming Enterprise, all the while mentoring and managing upcoming Caribbean musicians and talent artists.

Mr. Holder immigrated to the United States, succeeding as a real estate investor, retail business owner on Nostrand Avenue, NY, owner of an Ambulette and Home Health Care agency in the Bronx, NY and a community leader, where he served in leadership in the Nostrand Avenue Neighborhood Alliance addressing youth violence, neighborhood security and community development plans for the area. A member of Elim Church of Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Holder rededicated his life to God and was baptized under the late Archbishop Wilbert S. McKinley. In addition, as a certified naturopathic instructor, artist, lover of music, and a musician himself, Mr. Holder imparted his knowledge and love to his children and grandchildren.

Loving husband and father, he is survived by the love of his life, his wife Paula (Pierre) Holder of Valley Stream, NY; his six children, Jenelle Holder-Williams of Buford, GA, Dr. Dinelly Holder of Queens, NY, Chris Holder and his wife Jahaira of Bronx, NY, Charisse Holder of Valley Stream, NY, Samuel Holder of Valley Stream, NY and Paul Holder of Valley Stream, NY; his three grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Ethan Williams and Savannah Holder; his siblings Colleen Holder, Volda Wills, David Holder, Ranson Holder  and his wife Dawn, Ronald Holder and his wife Andrea, Neilson Holder, Juel Newton-Holder and her husband Wayne; his brother-in-laws, Clairmont Pierre and Elgin Adams; his nieces and nephews, Yemisi Mc Davidson, Adeola Klass, Kiki Holder, Nathaniel Holder, Charles Holder, Sven Wills, Shem Wills, Sherika Wills, Delisa Holder, Nijide Hollingsworth, Darren Holder, Ambokile Newton, Akinyele Newton, Ashietu Newton, Akeile Newton, Denise Felix, Monty Smith, Junior Melanie Primo, Nadine Smith, Maurice Smith, Roger Smith, Tiffany Adams, Stacey Welch, Destry Adams, Rodley Pierre, Adella Pierre, Althea Pierre, Andell Pierre, and Devon Pierre.
