KANE – Gerard passed away on January 13, 2018 surrounded by his family. Korean War Veteran. Retired NYC Firefighter, Engine 277 – Ladder 112. Beloved husband of 59 years to Mary (Dempsey) Kane . Loving father of Noreen Kane, Gerard Kane (Sharon), the late John Kane, Christopher Kane (Dana) and Helen Mangan (Christopher). Cherished grandfather of Meghan, Keri, Jaimie, Kristen, Sean, Sophia and Jack. Dear brother of John Kane.

Reposing Monday, January 15 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Tuesday, January 16 at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.
