Obituary of Louis T. McGarry

Louis T. McGarry died Saturday January 6, 2018 at his daughter's home in Scotrun, PA with his devoted wife, daughter & granddaughters by his side.

The son of Thomas & Louise, he was born January 26, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY.  The start of his adult life began with enlisting in the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War.  Louis worked for 36 years with the NYC MTA, retiring as a Supervisor. 

He leaves behind his loving wife Alice M. McGarry.  Cherished daughter Jennifer McGarry along with her husband Brett Mellett and the late Alice McGarry.  Dear grandfather of Ashley & Lauren Gewirtz.  A brother in law, uncle and friend to many who will be missed.

Reposing Wednesday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 PM at The Marine Park Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass 9:45AM Thursday, Good Shepherd R.C. Church.  Interment will follow St. John's Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPC.
