Scott was smart and funny and will be deeply missed. I remember our first "meeting" was over the phone, and somehow we realized that we both grew up in Canarsie and somehow hadn't met in person until after our offices were right next door for months. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Scott was more than a friend to me, he was a brother. Besides my wife, he was the most honest person I knew. Whether it was about work, going back to school, or anything to do with an Apple product, he would tell you the hard truth. I will never forget how the morning of my wedding, when I couldn't sleep, Scott came all the way from Queens just to keep me company. He was a good man and I'll always love him for what he meant to my wife and I. I know he's at peace. I feel it. But I still miss him.

Scott and I started at MSKCC 19 years ago. We were in the same orientation class and on the same service for many years. He was not only a co-worker, but a very treasured friend. I loved the fact that he was very opinionated and trust worthy. I will miss him dearly.

Scott was a beautiful person. Brilliant, hilarious and kind; it is my privilege to have stricken up a friendship with him of almost 10 years and work with him in the Division of Health Informatics. Scott, you were such a joy to run into while living at our building . I will never forget when we went onto the roof to take pictures of the sunset because the roof was never open. You were so excited and that day the sky was the most prettiest I ever seen. May you rest in peace , and continue to be fierce in heaven.

Scott and I worked together for years in liver surgery research. We were both born on 10/30 although he was quick to mention that I was born three years earlier which made me so much older. I will always remember his smile and his sense of humor. Sadly, I had not run into him in a couple years. RIP Scott.
