Obituary of Kenneth W. MacBride Sr.

Kenneth W. MacBride Sr.  passed away surrounded by his loving family on September 26, 2017, he was 72 years old. Kenneth was the beloved husband of Susanne E. McLinden. Father of Kenneth Jr. (Ann), Kelly A. Martin, Susanne (Gary) Napoli. Proud grandfather of Kelly Maureen (Eddie), Meagan, Ryan, Brett, Erin, Gianna, Timothy, Katie, and Kristie. Exceptionally proud great grandfather of Thea Marie.

Son of the late Stewart and Opal MacBride. Brother of the late Gloria Ann O’Connell, Florence (the late Brian) Hegarty, and the late Donald John, and Kevin (Carol) MacBride.

Kenneth devoted 43 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Brooklyn.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Lustgarten Foundation (donations can be made online by following this link) and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (donations can be made online by following this link) in honor of Kenneth W. MacBride Sr.


The visitation for Kenneth W. MacBride Sr. will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Saturday September 30, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM and again on Sunday October 1, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday October 2, 2017 held at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic at 9:30 AM - the family will be meeting at the funeral home by 8:30 AM. The Committal Service will be held immedately following the Funeral Mass at St. John Cemetery.
