Obituary of Mary Batos

Mary Batos, age 94, of Brooklyn passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. Mrs. Batos was born January 2, 1923 in New York, NY. She is the daughter of the late Victor and the late Anna (Kourkoutis) Glacous. Beloved Mother of Mary Ann Batos and Nicholas Batos and his wife Linda. Loving grandmother of Nicholas Batos III, Dr. Ivy Batos and Natalie Vacca, Christopher Vacca. Dear Yia Yia of Matthew Batos, Alex Batos, Noelle Vacca and Sam Vacca. Chersihed sister of the late Sophia Boyatzis, Joanne Michaels and Margaret Bounos.

Reposing Thursday, September 28 from 6:30 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home.

The funeral liturgy will be held 12:00 PM on Friday, September 29 at Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church, 1724 Avenue P, Brooklyn, NY with Fr. Eugene Pappas officiating. The family will be meeting at the funeral home from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.

Burial to follow at Green-Wood Cemetery where Mary will be laid to rest with her late husband, Nicholas Batos.
