Obituary of Frank Joseph Mauro

Frank Joseph Mauro passed away on August 9, 2017 at 89 years old.  He was the loving husband of the late Elizabeth, whom he shared 49 years with.  Frank was the beloved companion of Millie Christmann.  He was the adored father of Kathleen (Richard) Busse, Victoria Regina, Janine (Marc) Middleberg.  Frank was the dear brother of Catherine Farace, and the late Ralph and Joseph Mauro.  He was the cherished grandfather of Christina (Yair) Bitton, Patricia Marino, Heather Busse, Alicia (George) Yetka, Meagan (Matthew) Iannone, Melissa Middleberg, Michelle (Mark Richter) Middleberg, and Jennie Middleberg.  Frank was a loving great grandfather to Samantha Jo Yetka.

Frank was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving time in World War II. Frank always had a passion for working with his hands, and even built his own home in upstate New York.  Frank had a long career as a dairy product engineer with the Sweetheart Cup Corporation.

The visitation for Frank will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Friday August 11, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The burial will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale New York on Saturday August 12, 2017. The family will be meeting at the funeral home at 9:30 AM.
