Obituary of Maria Evila Medina

Maria Evila Medina, age 97, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Mrs. Medina was born October 25, 1919 in Colombia. She is the daughter of the late Alberto Munoz and the late Clemencia Medina. Loving mother of Marguit D. Quintero, Horacio Arturo Solarte and Gladys M. Rofonto. Beloved grandmother of Edward I. Quintero, Ann M. Quintero, Patricia Solarte, Geovany Solarte, Ana Maria Solarte, Monica Solarte and Lesley Rotonto. Cherished great grandmother of Margaret Rose Quintero, Kareem Abdelwahab, Valentina Idrobo and Omar Abdelwahab.

Reposing Sunday, August 13 from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:45 am on Monday, August 14 at St. Athanasius R.C. Church, 2154 - 61st Street, Brooklyn, NY. Burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens, New York.
