Obituary of Mary MacNeela

Mary MacNeela, age 96, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 24, 2017. Mrs. MacNeela was born August 21, 1920 in Athboy County Meath, Ireland. She is the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Mary (Reilly) Maye. A kind woman who brought joy to so many. A warm soul that friends and family adored. Mary enjoyed cooking and baking, a skill that she shined in doing because it came from her heart. Mary's humble generosity and hospitality will forever be remembered by those she loved. Mary will be welcomed into Heaven by her late husband, John MacNeela. Beloved mother of Jane MacNeela, Geraldine Jaffe and her husband Norman and John MacNeela and his wife Susan. Loving grandmother of Evan Jaffe, Mariah Jaffe, Clair Jaffe, Sean MacNeela and Heather MacNeela.

Reposing on Thursday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home.

Funeral Cortege to form and depart funeral home at 12:30 PM sharp to final resting place of Canarsie Cemetery.  

Committal Service will be held graveside at Canarsie Cemetery, Brooklyn.
