Obituary of Frank Tartaro
Frank Tartaro passed away peacefully on May 6, 2017 with his beloved wife by his side. He was 60 years old.
The son of Joan Tartaro and the late Dominick, Frank was born on April 26, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York.
Frank served our country with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War Era. After his military time, Frank became a long time dedicated employee of I.B.E.W. Local 3. Frank's love for riding & socializing led him to the Bikers of Brooklyn Riding Club. Frank was a 4th Degree Knight with Baron DeKalb and member of the Varuna Boat Club. Those that truly knew Frank, know music was his greatest passion, love and devotion after his wife and family. Frank enjoyed life through his guitars be it at home or playing in bands throughout his life. A Brooklyn boy through and through he loved its resturants, bars, friends, clubs and everything "Brooklyn".
Frank was the beloved husband of Jane (nee Forman) Tartaro. Devoted son of Joan Tartaro. Loving father of Dominick, Jessica, Tonianne, and Frankie. Dear brother of Salvatore Tartaro. Cherished grandfather of Lanie, Christina, Ray, Mia, Ian, and Ava.
Reposing Thursday at The Marine Park Funeral Home from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Cremation will be private.
