Obituary of Damien John O'Donnell

John O'Donnell, age 81, of Brooklyn passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017. Proud United States army veteran. Devoted member of the Flatbush Council Knights of Columbus. John was an avid gardener that enjoyed planting tomato plants. Mr. O'Donnell was born September 10, 1935. He is the son of the late Martin and the late Loretta (Halpin) O'Donnell. John will be welcomed into Heaven by his wife, the late Angela O'Donnell. Survived by his children, Damien J. O'Donnell, Jr. and Theresa J. Rissman. Loving grandfather of Angela Rissman, Brianna Rissman and Damien J. O'Donnell III. Reposing Monday, March 20 from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 9:30 AM at Our Lady Help Of Christians R.C. Church. Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
