I didn't get the chance to meet Richard, but I would like to offer the family my deepest condolences. In times of distress, I find comfort in the Bible. In Psalm 145:14 where it says "Jehovah is giving support to all who are falling." Reading God's word has helped me cope with the loss of a loved one. I hope these words have helped you in these difficult times.

Scott: So sorry to hear about your dad!! He is a great man I was privileged to grow up knowing him. I would have reached out to you sooner but my phone broke and I lost all my contacts. My cell number is 917/575-7956 if you need anything. I'll see you on Monday. Best regards to Nancy

Please accept our deepest and heartfelt condolences at the passing of our Friend and old Neighbor, Dick Gauser. Our thoughts and prayers are with his cherished wife Nancy and devoted son Scott, as they mourn his loss. We will always remember Dick for his generosity of spirit, his love of history and sports and his devotion as a loving Husband, Father and Friend. May we find comfort in the many happy memories that Dick made possible by his presence in our lives.
With our Love,
John, Neddy and Johnny

Rest In Peace "Gauser", you will always remain a beloved coach, father, husband, and friend....as my coach at Parkville, both in baseball and hockey, you were a great role model and a shaper of men. We always had fun on the field or at the rink, but it was the commaraderie, laughs, and talks about life that helped me become the man I am and I thank you. Thank you to Mrs G and my friend Scotty for sharing this wonderful man with me and the boys of Parkville....not a day goes by that I don't think about our great times together.... I love you Gauser, and I will never forget you! God bless you....your Captain, Roz
