I am so sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences for your family. I know what it feels like to lose a loved one, but I find that taking refuge in Jehovah, the God of all comfort has been of consolation to me. And you can find comfort in the Bible, where it promises in Revelation 21:4 that "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." We can trust that this will come true because not one word that God has spoken has ever failed. (Joshua 23:14) I hope these words have helped you.

• I am Dr. Viratana Charoenkul. I am Dr. Kasem Dechonkit’s classmate. I have known Dr. Kasem since 1963. That was 54 years ago from the first day since we knew each other as a freshmen in Medical school. It is seems to be a long period of time by the
number of years, but the time has gone by so fast.
On behalf of the class of 1967 at Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand,
We were very sad to hear of the loss of our dear classmate Dr.Kasem Dechongkit.
When my fellow classmates and I had heard of Dr Kasem’s passing, we all felt great sorrow and sadness.
He is the twelfth person in our class who has passed away.
Our 50 year class reunion was just held in January at Chiangrai province in Thailand. Unfortunately,
Dr. Kasem was too ill to attend.
So many of us missed seeing Dr. Kasem at the reunion since he
and Dr. Lim had joined all previous reunions and their company was very much enjoyed by everyone.
Now, I would like to talk about the importance of how we live.
To be born as a human and lived till the last day of life, required fate and super power from the past lives.
This is my concept of lives.
When we meet each other, this is no accident.
No matter where we grew up, we can still find each other.
Dr. Lim and Dr.Kasem traveled half way around the world to meet each other.
They supported and loved each other.
Dr.Kasem may have passed, but they are still together supporting one another.
One day it will be our turn.
When we love, we will feel sorrow, but let me say this.
Dr. Kasem lived a full and wonderful life. Now, he has gone to be with God.
We should live our lives as God would wish for us to live.
Dr.Kasem’s classmates send our sympathies to the Dechongkit family for our dear
departed friend.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of my former colleague. He was a family man,smart,honest,generous, and hard working physician who dedicated the career to women's health, He had invested his time and dedication working at our Linden Medical Center for decades until retiring.He had share the same feeling of having kidney disorder with my late husband thus they oftenly called and discussed the treatment options as well as talking about stock and real estate issues.
