Dear Maura, Angela, Patrick, Brian and Michael and their loved ones - I was shocked and saddened by learning of the passing of your Wonderful, Loving & Funny Mom-I found out yesterday while checking the obit for someone else - My heart aches for all of you - When I called Kelly we spent over an hour on the phone laughing & crying about the times we spent with the Keenan Family - The Collins/Keenan family get togethers were always so much fun-Your mom and my mom had a lot in common in that a cup of tea and a good chat could solve anything(They were right) - I wish we had known so we could have come to the wake and mass - I will miss the times I ran into her after mass on a weekday or at 7-11 and the 2 of us would chat for an hour-God Bless Your Mom and all The Keenan Family - My Prayers & Love & Hugs Go Out To All of You - Teecee XOXOXOXOXO

Mauree Keenan came into my life about 20 years ago when her youngest son, Michael, and my youngest child, Christine, decided they wanted to marry. My wife, Rose, and I were charmed by Maureens's warm and cheerful manner. We were especially impressed by the affection she and her family displayed for each other. Becoming a part of the Keenan family was a great blessing for Rose and me and over the years is has grown into love for her and her extended family.
Now that Maureen has gone to be with God and her deceased loved ones, we will miss her, but her presence will always be with us. I take much comfort in knowing that while Maureen and Rose were with us in life, they were great friends and enjoyed their times together at family functions. For my part, I will miss her cheerful and positive outlook on life. It seemed that her smile and offer of a cup of tea was all I needed to cheer me up when thing looked dreary. Ever the optimist, she saw the sun behind every dark cloud.
So I join the extended Keenan family and its many friends, in thanking God for the many years Maureen was with us and made our lives better for her presence. I hope she and my beloved wife, Rose, are together sharing a cup of tea and thinking of us. God bless them and those they loved.
