Obituary of Amy Aponte Figliuolo

Amy Aponte Figliuolo, 39, of Brooklyn passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017. Amy a true warrior who possessed such strong will and perseverance through a very difficult battle of cancer is now with the Lord in peace. Beloved wife of John M. Figliuolo. Loving mother of her beautiful daughter Alyssa. Amy, a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend to all that had the privilege of knowing her. Those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Amy gave us all a message of hope and reminded us of the grandeur of life. May Amy rest in peace and may her memory be eternal. The Figliuolo family will accept friends and family at Marine Park Funeral Home on Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church. Following mass, Amy will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery of Brooklyn.
