Obituary of Clara Occhiogrosso

Clara Occhiogrosso, 91, of Brooklyn passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017. Clara Occhiogrosso was born October 28, 1925 in Manhattan, NY. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Marietta (Amendola) Silecchia. Clara will be welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband Michael F. Occhiogrosso. Clara is survived by her loving children: Marie Durando and her husband Paul and Joseph T. Occhiogrosso and his wife Lucretia. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Durando and his wife Tina, Jean Occhiogrosso and Kristie Occhiogrosso. Adored great grandmother of Jonathan Matthew Durando and Christian Matthew Durando. Dear sister of Rachel Poretsky, Grace Gallo, the late Angelo Silecchia and the late Fred Silecchia. The family of Clara will accept friends and family on Wednesday, January 18th from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 19th at St. Edmund Roman Catholic Church, Brooklyn, NY. Entombment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
