I am so sorry that I did not hear about Connie's passing until last night or Christina and I would have been there to pay our respects. We are deeply saddened and will miss her immensely, for she had become like family. She is also missed by so many others.
As you know, Connie was best friends with Gloria, for over a decade, and whenever I think of pizza, I will remember how the two of them loved their pizzas and surely kept Famiglia Pizzeria in business. I am going to order some pizzas in their memory, for their remaining friends, this week.
You were so devoted and attentive to Connie and she appreciated having such a caring and loving family to rely on. I know that no words can bring you comfort in this deep loss, but you can rest assured that she knew she could count on her family to be there for her. We will always appreciate your many kindnesses to Gloria, also. Please stay in touch.
With Deepest Condolences, Love and Blessings,
April Sandmeyer

Although Connie was not my grandmother by blood, she always treated me like a granddaughter and I cherished the relationship that we had. I am at peace knowing that she is once again reunited with her loved ones, who she so dearly missed. I hope this poem below will bring comfort to her family:
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Lori Brooks
