Obituary of William J. McLoughlin

William J. McLoughlin passed away at 77 years old on December 28, 2016.William was welcomed into Heaven by his loving wife Carol. He was the beloved father of Kevin (Lori) McLoughlin, Charles (Terry) McLoughlin, Mary Petito, and Hope (Edward Alleva) McLoughlin. William was the dear brother of Charles McLoughlin, Maureen Early, Eleanor Kehoe, and Patricia Cook. He was the cherished grandfather of 9. William had a passion for basketball. He played throughout his life, especially enjoying his time playing for the Niagara University Eagles. William continued his love for the sport after college by coaching. In lieu of flowers, William's family requests donations be made in his honor to the Rockaway Point Volunteer Fire Department. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday December 31, 2016 at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church at 9:30 AM- the family will be meeting at the funeral home at 8:30 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery.
