Obituary of Vito V. Brienza

Vito Victor Brienza, 80, of Brooklyn passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016. Vito was born January 18, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. Retired FDNY from Ladder 172, Engine 330. Valiantly served our country as Sergeant with the United States Marine Corp. Devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Marie Brienza (nee. Grasso), loving children, daughter Catherine Brienza, son-in-law Dr. Patrick Roth, son Salvatore Brienza, daughter-in-law Erin Brienza, son Robert Brienza and daughter-in-law Carol Brienza, and by his devoted grandchildren Brittany, Christopher, Jacquelyn, Robert, Brianna, Anthony, Catherine and Madeline. Predeceased by his parents the late Salvatore and the late Catherine Brienza and sister the late Maryanne Fasano. He will always be remembered for his selfless generosity, and boundless love for his family and friends.
