Obituary of Rocco Barbiere

Rocco Barbiere was born on November 1, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York to Salvatore and Rose Barbiere. Rocco is a veteran of the Untied States Army, who served in World War II. After serving, Rocco received a Bachelor's Degree and continued a career in computer engineering. Rocco is survived by his loving wife Josephine (nee Calano) Barbiere. Rocco was the proud father of three daughters - Rosemarie (Robert) Nicoletti), Janet (Elliott Kroll) Barbiere, and Deborah (Robert DePorto) Barbiere. Rocco is the dear brother of Mary Harriton, Sylvia Marchant, Clara Scibetta, and the late Domenick Barbiere, Jeanette Maimone, Ralph Barbiere, and Dolores Barbiere. Rocco is the cherished grandfather of Michael, Bianca, Alexis, Darien, Stephen, Emily, and Sophia. He was the beloved great-grandfather of Zina and Tea Marie. The visitation will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Friday November 4, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church on Saturday November 5, 2016 at 11:30 AM - the family will be meeting at the funeral home at 10:30 AM. The Committal Service will be held at Green-Wood Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass.
