My sincerest condolences and prayers for the entire Galione family on the loss of your vibrant and one of a kind Father & Grandfather.
"Uncle" Jack was a huge Father figure in my life. After the death of my Dad, John Petriello, in 1991 I learned that he vowed to take care of "John's girls" in the event of his passing. And true to his word, he did just that up until a week ago. He-called me on a regular basis, offering support, mentoring, sharing personal stories, giving advice- even if I wasn't in the mood to hear it, etc! He wanted to move to Florida and asked me to help him. Unfortunately, his wish to leave NYC was not fulfilled.
Lauren, Dayna & Leigh....Your father loved you all so much! Every time we talked he gave me updates on the family and grandchildren. He was so very very proud of each of you. His wished to spend more time with you and always looked forward to being with you at holidays and birthdays.
Dear Jack....Rest in Peace Uncle Jack! Sail on your boat into the sunset and catch the biggest fish! Travel the world and go to exotic places! I'm sure you're happy to be reunited with your food service cronies and poker buddy's- John, Nick, Angelo and the rest!
Thank you for always being there for me and Nicole. I appreciated all your phone calls (even if they came at the worst time), support, wisdom and insight. Nicole and I will never forget you.
Love you forever >3

I was 24 years old in 1982 when Jack hired me. My desk was the coffee table in his office at One Battery Park Plaza. Jack's influence hugely impacted my life. He truly enjoyed mentoring and advocating. For the past 34 years we shared, laughed, cried and loved.
I was touched last year when Jack wondered out on his scooter, engraved and presented me with that BIG BLACK MONT BLANC PEN he used back in the day (which I proudly display on my desk as I write this). Indeed, Jack will be missed by many. His legacy is forever etched in my mind.My thoughts go out to his beautiful and lovely daughters, Lauren, Dayna, Leigh and grandchildren.

Shock comes close to describing the loss of this dear friend and colleague. Overwhelmed by grief is my state-of-being. For 39 years we shared all the brings that define life, and the loss is even more tragic as I and two other close friends of Jack were trying desperately to schedule a luncheon reunion. I shall miss Jack's frequent phone calls---occasions on which we always reminisced about the "good, old days" in the foodservice trenches and the key role he and his boutique company,Corporate Food Service Inc played. It's truly the end of an era. Luvya Jack....Neil
