Obituary of Clarence Joseph Owens
Clarence Joseph Owens, 83, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Mr. Owens was born April 18, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ. He is the son of the late Norman T. and the late Sophia (Michalski) Owens. Proud U.S. Army Veteran. Clarence served our country valiantly from 1952 to 1954. Brave recipient of the Korean Service Medal with one bronze star, United Nations Service Medal as well as the National Defense Service Medal.
Beloved husband of Joan (Scanlon) Owens. Loving Father of Thomas Owens (Lynn), Kevin Owens (Karen), Maureen Owens and Kathleen Owens. Cherished grandfather of Kevin and Brain.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 16 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY. Interment to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, NY
Visiting hours will be Monday, February 15 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.
