Obituary of Charles Bichara Massenat

Charles B. Massenat, 23, affectionately known as "Shoboo" was born March 9th 1992 in Brooklyn NY at St. Mary Hospital. He was the son of Jean and Marie Michele Massenat. Charles began his education at the P.S. 198 Elementary School, excelling to the Cunningham Intermediate School and graduating James Madison High School with his advanced regent’s diploma. Charles was currently enrolled at Borough of Manhattan Community College majoring in business entrepreneurship. Charles also has studied Real Estate courses at Baruch College. He was preparing and excited for his new journey at FedEx. Charles was summoned home by God on January 16, 2016. To know Charles was to love him. He was a loving person with a big heart and inquisitive mind always eager to learn something new. A very intelligent boy. He was insightful by nature and a very fast learner. Charles was sincere and intuitive. He was able to face anything life threw at him courageously. He enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends playing basketball, video games and music. Charles lives on through his mother Marie Michele; his father Jean and stepmother Jocelyn; three sisters Bianca, Barbeth and Charlene; two brothers Bichanel and Aishawn. Beloved cousin of Gregory, Jean “Dady” Abdias, Kenny, Carl Henry, Natacha, Vladimir, Vanessa, Oliver, Clarence, Stacie, Aisha, FaFane, Clara, Evens, Annia, Maxwelle and many more. Dear uncle of his niece and nephew Aubrey and Jason. Cherished grandson of Marie Joseph. Charles leaves behind a host of special aunts and uncles, several cousins who were close to his heart along with many other relatives and friends. Charles touched many loves in a special way and he will be forever loved and remembered by all who knew him. Viewing hours will be held for Charles at Marine Park Funeral Home on Friday January 22, 2016 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday January 23, 2016 at Our Lady of Miracles Roman Catholic Church at 9:00 AM. Following the Funeral Mass, the final committal will take place at Canarsie Cemetery.
