Obituary of Rose Colon
Rose Colon passed away on November 1, 2015. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on July 2, 1930. She was the loved wife of the late Anthony Purrone. Rose was the cherished mother of Luigi Purrone (Elsa), Tony Sticatto, Diane Purrone, Rudy Purrone (Lissette), Erminia Purrone, Carmela Purrone, and Roberto Purrone. Rose is survived by her 13 grandchildren, and she was predeceased in life by 1. Rose was the adored great grandmother to 13. The viewing for Rose will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 5 pm, and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will be held on Friday at 9:30 am., with a funeral mass at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church at 10:45 am. Committal will be at Rescurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, New York.
