Dear Ann, Dolores, George, Bobby and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Cousin George's passing. I offered Mass for him this morning, which I see is also the day of his funeral. I pray too that all of you feel God's presence at this trying time.
Thoughts, prayers and love.
Russell

It is with great sadness that I have leaned of the passing of George. I remember the days when he worked in computer operations very fondly. He was warm, friendly and always with a smile.
He talked of his great love of family and friends. I remember tasting his homemade wine of which he was so proud. My deepest condolences to his family. He will surely be missed.
With much sympathy,
Drew Epstein

Death is a spiritual event. There is nothing more comforting than knowing that the person's spirit lives on and is in a better place. George Lentini deserves such a place surrounded by angels and all that heaven delivers to a pious, sharing, and loving soul. Tragedies aside, George Lentini never compromised the essences and values of his sincere Christian beliefs.
George and his wife opened their doors and hearts to Catholic priests visiting from around the world, particularly Africa, They share their bread, living space, and time to help these visiting priests. This especially kind gesture was a humble and auspicious offering that the higher saints would find admirable.
As with all of us, our bodies age and become misty shades of our former appearances and actions. George Lentini, regardless of faith, has a soul that is strong and vibrant. He will be welcomed to Heaven and he will likely be active in all celestial things. One day you might experience a miracle. George Lentini may have recommended that you were deserving. Earth was better to have known George through body and soul. In heaven, his soul will shine upon us.
At this time, George lives in our memories and it is right to grieve. It is right to shed tears. We can rely on faith and spirit that George Lentini has not died. He has passed to a higher plane in a universe with God. Within this higher realm of consciousness, he may look upon you and be with you. He has passed to that spiritual level beyond us and he is with all that he touched and touched him. Peace to George and all those who have known him.
