Obituary of Fred Thomas Hayes

Hayes, Fred on April 1, 2015. Beloved son of the late Michael and Muriel (nee Nye). Former husband of Gail Hayes. Cherished dad of Tina and Gail. Grandfather of 3 and Great-Grandfather to one. Loving brother of the late James, the late Philip (and his surviving wife Virginia), Loretta Salome (and the late Mario), the late Marilyn, Helen DeVita (and the late Salvatore), the late John, Marie Hayes-Nicotra (and the late William), the late Joseph, Thomas, Marian Garcia, Michael (and his wife Barbara), Nancy Ortiz, Edward, Gerard, and Robert. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Fred was a proud veteran and served in the Air Force. Reposing at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Friday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. Blessing at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, Saturday at 9:45am. Interment to follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, L.I., NY.
