Deepest sympathy on the death of your father Joe.This photo was taken in Clough about 1950 by Uncle Mike while on vacation from the States. In the photo is Joe,sister Threasa,Murty Fahy a neighbour,Tom's wife Nora and Tom.As you can see they were helping Tom with the harvesting of the oats. They were taking a break and having a mug of tea. This was a common sight in those days. This scene reminds me of that lovely old song"Cuting the corn in Creeslough".
Again sincere sympathy and may his soul rest in peace.
Mary and Leo McGrath.

After a long life well lived, my older brother, Joe, is now gone home to his eternal reward and to meet with his dearly departed mam, dad, No. 1, Nan, Michael, Francis and Maureen. Thankfully, I have many rich memories of our youth when we worked the soil and bog together. You were truly a man of the earth who never forgot your roots in dear old Curry.
Goodbye, Joe, and may you rest contentedly in the tabernacle of God's love.
My sympathy to the entire family in New Jersey, New York and beyond, on your sad loss.

So sad to lose our much beloved Uncle, an amazing man with a huge heart and love for his family near and far. Will fondly remember all our chats about the old Curry road and people he knew back home. May he rest in peace in his new home in Heaven with his wife Maggie Teresa, sister Nan, brother Mattie, and his siblings long passed, Michael, Maureen and Francis. Thank you for giving us our wonderful cousins and family in the States, thinking of you all at this sad time. Uncle Joe always finished up his phone calls with "love to everybody". xox Trish & John (please give him a kiss from us)

On behalf of my mother, Mary, all our prayers and condolences for your Dad, John J. O'Loughlin. He was my "Uncle Joe," and we grew up knowing his love for his greater New York family. Love, Mike, Susan and Christine.
