Patricia Darby Turnbull, of Marlton, New Jersey passed away on February 22, 2015, at the age of 64. Patricia was born on April 16, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York to Arthur Darby and Elizabeth Blythe. She enjoyed a happy childhood with siblings Karen, Michael, Arthur and Denise. On April 18, 1970, Patricia married Philip John Turnbull, Jr. at St. Brendan’s Church in Brooklyn, New York.
Patricia attended St. Brendan’s School and Kings County Nursing School. She enjoyed a 20 year career in nursing, helping others, as she loved to do. In the summertime, Patricia relished her time with her family and friends at the beach in Breezy Point, New York.
Patricia resided in Brooklyn, New York, Wallingford, Connecticut and Marlton, New Jersey during her lifetime. She was an active member of each community, contributing to her children’s schools and her church.
Patricia is survived by her four children, Darby McChesney (husband Matthew), Philip John Turnbull III (wife Hilary Raj Turnbull), Christopher Turnbull (wife Aimee Tymon Turnbull) and Megan Turnbull (fiancé Greg Fackler) and her Grand-Niece Destiny Peloso. Family was always the most important thing to her and the lights of her life were her nine grandchildren: Matthew, Aidan, Jackson, Christopher, Gavin, Colin, Payton, Logan and Maeve. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a loyal friend and an incredibly generous, giving and loving woman.
