Albina Zborovskiy

Obituary of Albina Zborovskiy

Albina Zborovskiy (61), beloved wife of Anatoliy and mother of Konstantin (Danielle). Born on July 2, 1953 in St. Petersburg, Russia, Albina attended a prestigious middle school and learned English as part of her schooling. She later attended the St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, where she earned her Masters of Business Administration degree, and had her first job working for the State Archives of the Navy. Upon graduation in 1977, she became a manager in one of St. Petersburg’s top hotels. In 1987, Albina and Anatoliy were married and in 1994, Albina and her family moved to Brooklyn, NY. She began working for the New York City Human Resources Administration in 2000 as a case worker, helping New Yorkers from a number of vulnerable population groups. For the next 15 years she worked for the betterment of those who needed her support. Albina loved the outdoors, and used the lure of the beach as way of getting her husband to participate, and was always happiest vacationing with her family in Aruba or St. Martin. She liked to spend her time visiting museums and going to the theater, operas, and ballets. In warmer months, she loved to go to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens (peonies were her favorite flower). Always looking to try new things, Albina liked to go out to restaurants and try trendy new spots; and unlike her husband, her favorite part of the lobster was the claw.
