Mark, as I sit here watching the National Law Enforcement Memorial, honoring you for your dedication and ultimate sacrifice, I am proud and honored to call you my friend. Your beautiful soul and genuine kindness goes so deep beyond what a good person should be. I miss you. I miss your smile and your laugh. We’ve had such great times together that I know all of us miss so much. We’ve made some beautiful memories that are deeply cherished. Until we are all reunited again, please Rest In Peace with my John and watch over us.

A loving heart stopped beating.
As we watched you slip away.
Our hearts were truly broken.
As you fought so hard to stay.
God saw you were so tired.
The cure was not to be.
He put his arms around you and
whispered, come to me.
A true gentleman, loving friend who will be missed by many! Rest in peace Mark! We love you.

No words can express my deepest sympathy. Knowing you for over 30 years, there are many beautiful memories to cherish. Mary, I feel your pain but remember your strong faith and all the encouragement you gave me. Remember John will be there to welcome Mark to the angel bar where they will have their first glass of Pepsi together and John will cook him sausage, peppers and potatoes. You will be missed terribly and loved forever.

To the family and friends of Mark. I am very sorry for your loss. I hope that you can find comfort in the Scriptures found in Revelation 21:4 which says that God will wipe out every tear from people's eyes and that death will be no more. This assures us that God will remove death and that we will live forever. So pray to God and read the bible and know that God will always be there to help you.

Although I only met Mark a few times I could see the love he had for Mary. It was my absolute pleasure to entertain them both at Mary's birthday party at the Vanderbuilt catering hall a few years back. RIP Mark. I know you will be missed.
