Obituary of James Fox

James Fox, age 80, of Breezy Point entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. James was born July 14, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late James and the late Stella (Szczyglieski) Fox. Proud Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient.

Beloved husband of Maureen (O’Connor) Fox. Loving father of James Fox (Elizabeth) and Brian Fox (Janet). Cherished grandfather of James Michael, Brandon, Emily and Connor. Dear brother of the late Victoria Mauriello, the late Thomas Hanley and Rosalie Schoeller.

 

Forever In Our Hearts

 

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May James’ soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

 

Reposing Friday, September 15 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Saturday, September 16 at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd., Rockaway Point, Queens.   

Burial to immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
