Obituary of John Francis Joseph Doyle, Jr.

John Francis Joseph Doyle, Jr. passed away on September 5, 2023. He was 78 years old. John was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 2, 1945. He was the son of the late John and Anna Doyle. John joined the NYPD in 1968, spending his career between the 73^rd Precinct in Brownsville and the 60^th Precinct in Coney Island - finally retiring from Brooklyn Central Warrants after 19 years.

John was welcomed into Heaven by the late Bernedette Hurley. He was the loving father of John Francis (Melissa), Margaret (Danny), Marianne (Jennifer), Patricia, and the late Brian. John was the cherished grandpa of Bridget, Cathleen, Brendan, Owen, Kenneth, Bryan, and Nicholas. John was the dear brother of the late Joan (Harrison), Elaine (Kevin), Maureen (Nick), and the late Patrick. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The visitation for John Francis Joseph Doyle, Jr. will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 11:30 AM - the family will gather at the funeral home by 10:00 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
