Marilyn V. Moffatt, 90, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Mrs. Moffatt was born January 13, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late James J. and the late Kathleen (O'Leary) Fitzsimmons. Adored granddaughter of the late Jennie and the late James E. “Sunny Jim” Fitzsimmons. Beloved wife of the late Walter T. Moffatt. Loving mother of Robert W. Moffatt (the late Valerie), Susan Moffatt-Dishaw (Michael), Lynda M. Neary (the late Michael), Judith Angiolino (Thomas), Christopher W. Moffatt and Mary Beth Johnsen (Kenneth). Cherished grandmother of Christine Stallone (Ralph), Thomas Angiolino (Victoria), James Angiolino (Nicole), Katelyn Neary, Michael Johnsen (Janine), Elizabeth Egan (Sean), Daniel Johnsen, Michael Neary and Melanie Johnsen. Treasured great grandmother of Isabella, Nicholas, Taylor, Joey (Deceased), Angelo, Gabriella, Olivia, Matthew, Alex, Ryan, Julianna, Christian and Nora. Devoted sister of Joan Shirley Hornung (Paul) and the late Janet Traub (James). Endeared and loved by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and God children. Reposing Wednesday, March 29 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 30 at 10:00 AM, Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Brooklyn, NY. Interment to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens, NY.
