James A. Bahan, 65, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016. James was born November 20, 1951 in Queens, NY. He is the son of the late Thomas and the late Rosemary (Alexander) Bahan. James valiantly served our country in the Navy during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1973. James was the proud recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Beloved husband of Linda S. (Messiana) Bahan. Loving father of James A. Bahan Jr. and his wife Heather. Cherished grandfather of Ashleigh, Halie and Caitlin. Dear brother of John Bahan (Lauren) and Joseph Bahan (Anna) and the late Thomas. Treasured nephew of Uncle Chuck and Aunt Mary Raso and Aunt Mildred Bahan. Devoted Uncle of Katie, Patrick, Joseph, Sammy, Anthony, Johnathan and Jennifer. Great uncle of Jason John and Casey Marie. Beloved Cousin of Wayne and godfather of Jo Ann. Adored son in law of Ruth Messiana and brother in law of Laura Messiana, Lisa Messiana and Toniann Castalano (Jesse). James is survived by many more family and friends that hold a special place in his heart. James will be missed by all, may his memory be eternal.
