Obituary of Aida Valdes

Aida Valdes, age 87, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026. Ms. Valdes was born September 29, 1938, in Puerto Rico. She is the daughter of the late Felix and the late Margarita (nee Alonso) Matos.

Ms. Valdes is the devoted mother of Dianne Valdes, John Valdes (Linda,) Albert Valdes (Maureen) and the late Robert Valdes.

Loving grandmother of John (Melissa,) Robert, Kristina, Noah, Luke, Dalton, Tristan.

Cherished sister of the late David Matos (Julie,) Louis Matos (Molagros) and Iris Aviles (the late William.)

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY 11234.

Private cremation to follow.

A burial will take place at Green-Wood Cemetery. Please check back for further information.
